Here are some pictures of my new client’s house. It is downtown and it is narrow, but has 3 floors. I would guess in a traditional family use, it would have 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room, dining room and a kitchen. For an old home, it does have a lot of closet space and it has one hallway closet that would make a great master bedroom closet.
The contractor is just beginning the work on the kitchen and I assume it will be 4 to 6 weeks before it is done. Then, they will move on to the bathrooms. At this moment, I have finished the kitchen layout and cabinet elevations and we are moving forward with picking the bedroom, study, living and dining room colors. We will most likely go shopping next week for tile, faucets, light fixtures, and possibly additional furniture. This client is on tight budget (according to him), but he really needs help pulling this house together. The contractor told him that he has champagne taste on a beer budget. I am guilty of the same taste, or so I have been told by one of my previous bosses. This particular boss had very little taste, not even beer budget taste, if you know what I mean.
